Level 11: The Office (Silver Key)

  1. Under Attack

    In this room, three assault guardians and three acid roaches, one in each side passage, will want to take you out from range. If you wish, you can press the buttons at the far end to close the pits which are preventing you from getting into their melee range, but it is far safer to take them out from range yourself, especially as they turn around when you are not in their direct line of sight. Either during or after the battle, close all the pits anyway. This will also open the northern door into the next room. For now, go into the longer western passage.
    2. The eastern and western ‘doors’ depicted on the automap are not actually doors in the game, so I have grayed them out.

  2. Teleporter

    Step into this teleporter to be sent over to the other side.

  3. Launch Point

    The pressure plates operate the door and pit cover as indicated on the map, but only for extremely brief periods. Throw an item from here into the teleporter (it will land on the southern pressure plate) and immediately move backwards out of this room. A button on the other side will keep the door open permanently, and you can retrieve your item if you wish.

  4. Elite Zapper

    In this chest is an Elite Zapper, some ammunition, and a note. Look carefully at the opposite wall and press the tiny button under the shelf. Leave the room and return south to explore the eastern passage from there.

  5. Pits

    The colors of the pressure plates correspond to the colors of the pits they toggle. One of the pits remains permanently open.
    To get across, step on the pressure plates in the following order: A, B, C, B, C, D, C, B, C, B, A, B, C, D, C (forward, forward, forward, right, forward, right, back, left, right, forward, right, forward, back, left, back, left, forward, right, left, back, left, back, back, right, forward, forward, forward, right, forward, right, left, back).

  6. Silver Key

    Find a Silver Key, some ammunition, and a phonodiary in this chest. Look to the right of the chest, just above the wooden panel, for a hidden button.

  7. Secret #24

    In this locker is Rike’s Carbine and some ammunition. It is the best rifle in the game. This time when you step out into the main hall, an acid roach, a flamethrower guardian, a heavy guardian, and a great roach will be waiting for you. Scoot over to the adjoining office when you are done.

  8. Elite Protector

    An Elite Protector and some ammunition lie in this chest.

  9. Elite Umbrella Field Generator

    This chest contains an Elite Umbrella Field Generator, some ammunition, and a note.

  10. Secret #25

    You will be able to reach here if you pressed the hidden button near 4. In the chest you will find Extractor and some ammunition. We will not be able to visit the last office until much later, so return upstairs (A) for now.
