- Tomb of Designers
Having revived the Cube and taken the teleporter at 8 on Level 12, you’ll reach here. There’s a Rock in one corner of the room. Stepping on the pressure plate in the passage will close both doors and you will be trapped in poison clouds. You need to quickly press all three buttons in there to open a door out. Whichever button is pressed last, the door next to it will open. It’s best to first locate a button and hold the mouse pointer steady over it so that you don’t have to struggle with vision through the poison clouds.

To open the secret door, locate a hidden rune-engraved button on the southern wall. On the shelf you’ll find a Goromorg Miniature.
- Ornate Key
The pressure plates on the way to this shelf are benign the first time you pass over them, but they will cause spells to be unleashed on you when you return, so weigh them down on your way in and take the Ornate Key unharmed.
- Pits
Falling into these pits takes you to an empty room with a shrakk torr and a teleporter back up.
Shoot a projectile across the pit while the teleporter is off to close the first pit. Then, while the teleporter is off, press a hidden button on the western wall to close the second pit. You can now run in and grab a second Ornate Key.
- Locked Door
Use both Ornate Keys on the keyholes flanking this door to open it.
- Weapon of Power
Kill the uggardian in this room, then check the two shelves for a scroll each.
To reveal the Weapon of Power, remove the Torch from the sconce, and turn off any light sources you have (unequip torches, cast Darkness). Once you can see the weapon, you can light up the room again (even before picking it up). The weapon fires lightning bolts, and it can temporarily disable the Cube.
When you take the Weapon of Power, you will be fully healed and a teleporter will appear at 5. It will take you into the final battle on Level 12.
There are no more pressure plates to weigh down. You can drop all dead weight that you don’t need. If your party members are full, you will not need any more food either. Brew whatever potions you’d like to before taking the teleporter.
