- Pits & Secret #28
Fall down a pit to an empty room below. There, look for a hidden button next to the teleporter. This will open two secret doors, releasing a crowern and a wyvern (casts lightning bolts). Once they are eliminated, take the two Lightning Bombs and two Fire Bombs from the shelf. Use the teleporter to return upstairs.
You need to reach across the pits to 10 from here. There are two buttons near here, and one across the pits. The correct order to press the buttons is: white, blue, white, green, blue. - Iron Key & Toorum’s Note #5 Taking the Iron Key from the shelf will open two nearby secret doors, releasing a crowern and a wyvern. To open this door, first select an item to throw. Flip the lever to the north, which will open this door but also shut the gate allowing access to it. Quickly, throw your item on the pressure plate to the west, which will open the gate, and run into this door before it closes.
If you fail enough times, a secret door next to the pressure plate will open to give you a hint.
As you progress through the tunnels, secret doors will progressively open to release crabs and herders. Attentive players will find a Grim Cap, a Shuriken, a Milkreed and two Fire Bombs in a few areas that open up. - Ring Gauntlets Here you’ll find a pair of Ring Gauntlets. On the adjacent tile is a Tar Bead.
- Warhammer On this shelf you’ll find a Warhammer.
- Ornate Key On the shelf here is an Ornate Key. You’ll need it at 27. To exit, flip the lever on the wall nearby to open a secret door.
- Secret #31 Having exited via the secret door, return to the lever you used to open the Deserted Tunnels and flip it once more. This will open the gate into this room for a few seconds. Run in before the timer ends to find three Fire Arrows, a Grim Cap and a Huntsman Cloak. A button in the room will reopen the gate permanently.
- Chamber of Pits & Secret #32
First, fall down one of the pits and defeat a few skeletons. Then look for a Tattered Cloak, a Blooddrop Blossom, a Grim Cap and a Burrow Rat Shank. Take the stairs back up and you’ll find a Boiled Crag Beetle and a Short Bow at 24. A lever will open the secret door that lets you return here.
On returning, examine the walls. The button on the northern wall will progressively close some pits temporarily, allowing you to reach the other side. The lever reverses the direction of the sequence. There is a similar pair of lever and button at the other end. The lever needs to be flipped down to advance from this side. From in front of the starting platform, the sequence of movements is:Up, Up, Right, Up, Up (button), Left, Left, Down, Down, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Down (secret), Up, Up, Up, Left
Pick up the secret at 25 as you make your way across the pits. - Short Bow On this shelf is a Short Bow. On the floor is a Boiled Crag Beetle.
- Secret #32 As you are making your way across the pits, pressing the button in the northwest corner will close this pit. On the shelf is a Brace of Fortitude.
- Ornate Key Here is an Ornate Key you will need at 27. When you take it, four secret doors around the room will open, releasing herders and a crab, and the exit from the room will close. You can avoid the fight by placing an item on the shelf before picking up the key. If you choose to fight, you’ll be able to pick up a Grim Cap, a Tar Bead, and two Lightning Bombs from the alcoves that opened. To leave the room, put any item on the shelf.
- Locked Gates You can open both these gates with the Ornate Keys from 21 and 26. You can then head down to Level 6: Trapped (B).
